Catching Up

It has been a while since I have posted any updates.... My baby is now almost 6 and a half months old. I can't believe it. She is getting too big. At her 6 month apt she was 16 1/2 pounds and 26 inches. She is in the 75% for both her height and weight. I love the chubby cheeks and little rolls on her legs. We have been busy with preschool and just life. We went to visit the cousins in Arizona the first part of September and had a blast, then Brad started preschool on the 14th. He loves it!! I knew he would enjoy getting to play with the other kids, but I didn't think he would enjoy it quite as much as he does. He loves his teacher. Today I told him that he got to go to school and see the kids today. He told me he didn't want to see the kids, he just wanted to see Miss Tonja. I am glad that he likes it so much! Gives me a nice little break too. Here are just a few pictures to update you on what we have been up to.

Having a blast in Arizona! Too bad it is such a long drive. Brad asks everyday if we can go back yet!

Brad found a new friend. Peter the rabbit. Brad loved this rabbit, and wanted to feed him a carrot everyday.

So Brad climbs in Kenzie's crib with her one day and says "Now you have two babies". I keep trying to tell him that he is still my baby, but he insists he is a big boy now. :)

Brad on his first day of preschool. Ok I guess he really is a big boy! I just hate to see them grow up.

Ok I have been told by a number of people that I have been slacking. I would have to agree, but I usually find something more important that needs to be done while both kids are napping. Usually that means me taking a nap as well. Since Jesse is away at scout camp this week I decided I would take a quick second and post some random pictures just to update everyone on what has been going on here. My baby is already 3 1/2 months old, and I can't believe the time goes so fast!!

Jesse has been playing soccer on a couple different leagues. He got kicked in one of his games just above the shin guard, and the next day he went golfing and got hit in the exact same spot by the golf ball. This isn't the worst that it looked, it got much worse, but this is the best picture I have of it.

My baby turned 3 years old on June 14th!! I can't believe he is already three years old! I can't imagine our lives without him, he keeps us busy, but he also keeps me smiling. We love you buddy!!

We also blessed Kenzie on Brad's b-day! It was a great day. We are glad we were able to spend the day with friends and family.

We also celebrated Grandpa Whipple's birthday On June 15th. It was his 80th birthday, but I didn't even get a picture of Grandpa. Bummer.

Wow this has been a picture overload. Last for now.... we went camping with Jesse's family the last weekend in June! It was a blast. Brad loved throwing rocks in the river, and racing with anybody he could talk into a race. The boys decided to go buy some tubes and ride down the river. They had so much fun, until Jesse's tube popped.

Well that is all for now. Hopefully it won't take me as long to update next time.

Wow 2 Months Really?

I can't believe that I haven't updated my blog in two full months. I have sat down to do it many times, but instead get lost updating myself on everybody else's blogs. I will have to get some pictures to post soon, but I wanted to let everybody know that doesn't already know.... We are expecting baby number 2. I had my ultrasound two weeks ago, and we are expecting a baby girl the 7th of April. We are super excited. She was being very modest, and Jesse says that with all the baby girl shopping I have done, that she better really come out a girl. I guess time will tell. Hopefully I can find some time to put some new pictures on soon, but for now you just get rambling.

Jesse's dad rented a bobcat to do some yard work the other night, and Brad absolutely loved it!! He got pretty brave by the end of his ride, and was trying to do all the controls by himself.

Ok so I know it has been a while, but I am finally getting around to posting a few of my favorite pictures from our trip to Arizona for Jake's baptism. I am so glad we got to go visit and be there for Jake's baptism and Ryder's blessing. It was a long drive for such a short trip, but Brad loves to see his cousins, so it was definately worth it!! Here are a few of my many favorite photos from the trip.

Hot Summer Days

Well it has been a hot summer, and I have been a slacker. Here are a few pictures of Brad playing in the water. He loves to turn on the hose and just soak himself. I just make sure to stand back far enough that he can't reach me with the water.

Jesse, Brad, and I decided to take a road trip to go see new baby hall(Ryder) last weekend. Brad had so much fun playing with his cousins. Him and Hunter were best little buddies. Brad wouldn't go anywhere without Hunter by his side. Thanks for the fun weekend guys!!

Jesse was out mowing the lawn and Brad really wanted to help. Jesse let him mow probably half of the backyard with him, but then he got sick of having to go so slow, and it started to rain, so Brad was out. Here are a few pictures helping daddy.

Memorial Day

Since it decided to rain and ruin our pool party plans on Memorial day we decided to go bowling instead. Brad loved it, but wasn't quite into playing the full two games that Jesse paid for. It was a lot of fun. That evening we went to a barbeque at a friends house, but had to come home early so that Jesse could go and help the scouts take down the flags that they had put up that morning.

Sad Day

My baby is no longer a baby. Today we had to convert Brad's crib into the toddler bed. He discovered on Tuesday that he can climb out of his crib. I was hoping it wouldn't really be a big deal, and that he might forget about it, but NO!! Last night I tried to put him to bed, and he climbed out of his crib three times. Then first thing this morning, before he even made a peep, he had climbed out of his crib. When Jesse went to get him up he was standing by the door crying. I think I will be giving up some of my precious sleep now that he will be able to get up by himself in the mornings. Sad day!!

Walking in Daddy's shoes

Brad loves shoes. He always wants "shoes on". If anybody has their shoes off he will bring them to you and say "shoes on". He especially loves trying to walk in Daddy's shoes.

Brad was playing with his hot wheels when he trippd and fell. One of his cars must have hit the corner of his eye. Yesterday it was very red and swollen. Today it is starting to bruise. He may end up with a pretty good shiner. I think he must have been trying t compete with Zac. I think Zac won though.

Don't mind the hair, he had just woke up from his nap.
